Belvedere Man Fatally Injured
Albert Butler, San Francisco businessman and resident of Corinthian Island, was fatally injured Sunday night when he fell 15 feet over a bank on the island as he was leaving the Corinthian Yacht Club for his home.
He was found a few moments later by a passerby and removed to his home. Dr. Harry O. Hund was called and it was discovered that Butler was suffering from a fracture of the skull. He regained consciousness, but died early Monday morning. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Butler.
Butler was salesmanager for the American Washing Machine Company, with offices in San Francisco. The remains were brought to San Rafael by Coroner J. Ray Keaton, and an inquest will be held.
Funeral services were held yesterday with burial in San Francisco, under the direction of the F. E. Sawyer Company.
