SUE S. MURATA
A funeral for Sue S. Murata of Kentfield will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Buddhist Temple of Marin, 390 Miller Ave., Mill Valley.
Mrs. Murata died Friday in a local hospital after a brief illness and injuries in an auto accident Oct. 13.
She was 62. She was born in Hood, Sacramento County, and was a life-long California resident, moving to Marin County in 1947.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Murata, and a son, David Kiyoshi Murata, both of the family home in Kentfield; a sister, Shizu Yokoi of Watsonville; and a brother, Tsugio Takano of San Jose.
Burial will be private.
Friends may call until 5 p.m. Tuesday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
