JOELLE RAAS ALLEN
Private memorial services will be held tomorrow (Saturday) for Joelle Raas Allen, 87, a Marin County artist, singer and violinist who died last week.
Mrs. Allen, widow of real estate broker Frank Howard Allen, had been a leader in the Marin Art and Garden Center and the Marin Society of Artists. A native of San Angelo, Texas, she was educated in Marin and at the Sorbonne in Paris.
She had lived to the last ten years at the Tamalpais retirement center in Greenbrae.
Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, Charles Howard Allen of Stinson Beach, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
