MARGARET M. BONGARTZ
Margaret Malley Bongartz of Novato, a homemaker, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Bongartz was the widow of Francis Bongartz.
She was a native of Winnepeg, Canada, who had been a resident of Novato for 35 years.
Mrs. Bongartz participated in the founding of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Novato and was a charter member of Nova Marin Grandmothers.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Hogan of Novato; a son, Al Larson of Santa Clara; a sister, Jessie M. Fatjo of Saratoga; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Episcopal Church.
