Douglas Weidmer, Fairfax Musician, Is Fatally Stricken

Douglas Weidmar, 76-year-old Fairfax musician, died from a heart attack near his home last Friday while walking along the Creek road.

For some time Mr. Weidmer was pianist for the Fairfax Lions Club. When first stricken the aged man seated himself on a bench near the Deer Park bridge.

Mrs. Morby observed him from her home and Police Chief Peri soon arrived with a physician but found Mr. Weidmer dead.

Funeral and interment were private, under direction of the Keaton Mortuary, San Rafael.
