ROBERT H. ROGERS
Robert H. Rogers, 63, retired San Rafael fire battalion chief, was dead on arrival at a local hospital early today after apparently suffering a heart attack.
Rogers, of San Rafael, had been a member of the department from 1941 until he retired in June 1974.
He was born in Ross and attended San Rafael High School. He worked for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. as a welder’s apprentice before joining the department.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
