MARCELLA VILTER
Woodacre – Marcella Vilter of Woodacre, a longtime Marin resident, died Monday at her home. She was 74.
Mrs. Vilter was born in Latvia and came to this country in about 1930 when she was in her mid-20s.
She and her husband, Ernest Vilter, have lived in Marin for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Frank Vilter of Campbell, Ernest Vilter of Carmichael and Dennis Vilter of Woodacre; two daughters, Mary Vilter of Woodacre and Diane Carberry of Novato; and nine grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rita’s Church in Fairfax. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 8 tonight at the Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo.
