Former Homestead Resident Suicides
San Diego police, it was learned Friday, found the mutilated body of Edward L. Mitchell, former resident of Homestead Valley, Marin county, at the foot of a “suicide bridge.” He was 30 years of age and a naval air station store keeper.
The remains were found in Balboa Park, scene of at least forty suicide leaps. Police declare the man bled to death.
No explanation of the deed has been found.
