San Rafael Boy Dies In Arizona

Funeral services were held today for Theodore Whitlow, who passed away Sunday at Wenden, Arizona, after a long illness from tuberculosis. He had been a patient sufferer.

The deceased was well known here, where he had resided for many years while engaged in business, that of bank examiner, with headquarters in San Francisco.

Some years ago he gained a reputation as a pitcher in semi-professional baseball games. He appeared here several times, pitching for the San Rafael team.

The deceased is survived by a widow, Mrs. Dorothy L. Whitlow, and a son, Robert, and he was a brother of Mrs. E. E. Gilman.

The services, conducted by Rev. Butler, of Sausalito, and Rev. Mr. McFarland, his father-in-law, of Healdsburg, took place at the parlors of the Eden Undertaking Company on C street, under whose direction the burial was made in Mount Tamalpais cemetery.
