Aged Citizen of San Anselmo Found Dead On Roof of Home
Mrs. Eugene Kientz, 52 Grove Lane, San Anselmo, reported that a man, seemingly dead, was lying on the roof of a house at 41 Grove Lane.
The police found the body of 81 year old EDWARD BONNET, a retired gardener. He had gone to the roof of his home to clean it, and had been stricken with a heart attack.
Bonnet was a native of France, but came to California when a child. He had lived in San Anselmo 21 years. Surviving him are 2 daughters; Mrs. ZOE C. CARLE, San Anselmo, and Mrs. ALICE MOTTE of San Francisco. He was a Spanish-American War Veteran. Private funeral services were held in the Chapel of Guy W. Jenness & Co., San Anselmo.
