GARY A. RICHMOND

San Jose – A memorial service for Gary Arthur Richmond of San Jose, a former resident of Marin, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Presbyterian Church, San Rafael.

Richmond, 47, died Dec. 17 in a Berkeley hospital following a stroke.

Richmond was born in California and graduated from Fremont High School.

He served as a helicopter pilot during the Korean War.

Richmond, a marketing consultant in the health field, had a health and exercise show on television in San Jose in the early 1960s. He lived in Marin during the 1960s and worked as a marketing executive at Holiday Magic in San Rafael.

He is survived by two sons, Gary Richmond Jr. of Oklahoma and Mark Richmond of San Jose; his mother; and two brothers.
