John Scherning Dies At Home In San Anselmo
Funeral rites were said Tuesday at the Keaton Mortuary in San Rafael for John Scherning, aged 71, who died Saturday at his home on Butterfield Road, San Anselmo. He was a native of Denmark, and had made his home in this county for about 35 years, most of which time he was a cemetery employee. Interment took place at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
