JOHN E. REED, 86
Dies In Sausalito
John E. Reed, 86, dropped dead at his home at 206 Third Street, Sausalito, last evening while pushing a wheelbarrow full of sand, Coroner Frank J. Keaton reported.
Reed, a retired carpenter, lived with his wife, Maude, who survives him. He also is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leora MacDowell of Sausalito.
Reed was pushing the wheelbarrow in front of his home about 5:30 p.m. when he collapsed. An autopsy was to be held this morning to confirm the cause of death.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Frank J. Keaton Mortuary, Sausalito.
