EVANGELINE T. KNUTSEN
The memorial service for Evangeline Thomain Knutsen of Novato will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bahia Valley Memorial Chapel, Novato.
Mrs. Knutsen died at her home Tuesday after an illness.
She had been a resident of Novato for six months and previously had been a longtime resident of Millbrae.
She was a native of Sawyer’s Bar, Siskiyou County.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Hanks of Novato and Marsha Meckel of Spokane, Wash.; seven sisters, Hilda Stang of San Francisco, Dorothea Larson of Hayward, Ruth LeMaster of Downey, Los Angeles County, Jessie Stevenson of Santa Rosa, Laura Lindsay of Millbrae, Alice Foley of Sawyer’s Bar, Siskiyou County, and Helen Hoffman of Orinda; and five grandchildren. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael 94903.
