BERTHA KIRCHNER
Mrs. BERTHA KIRCHNER, wife of the Rev. G.E. KIRCHNER, secretary-treasurer of the Muir Woods Park Improvement Association, died in her sleep during the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 21, at their cottage on Marin View Avenue, Mill Valley, where Mrs. KIRCHNER was spending a few days with her niece, Mrs. E. JACOBSEN and baby JANET JACOBSEN.
The funeral services were held from St. Paulus Ev. Lutheran Church, Eddy and Gough Streets, San Francisco, on Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock with interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, where the infant and only child of the Rev. and Mrs. KIRCHNER was laid to rest 20 years ago. Mrs. KIRCHNER attained the age of 56 years. She was under the medical care of a San Francisco physician, but her condition was not considered to be serious. She is survived by her husband, 2 brothers, the Rev. H. HAGIST of Aurora, IL, and GEORGE HAGIST of Oakland, and 3 sisters; Mrs. A.W. PLUMMER of Reno, NV, Mrs. E. HOFER and Mrs. A. SCHUDEL of Oakland.
