Funeral Services For Bolinas Hotel Man
After an illness of a year, almost to a day, Lorenzo Pomatto for 18 years proprietor of the Lawrence Hotel, passed away last Friday at the Emergency Hospital, where he had been taken from his home the day before.
The Lawrence Hotel, which has been conducted by the widow and daughter during the illness of the deceased, is well known to many Marin county people for the excellence of its cuisine.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Catherine Pomatto, and a daughter, Miss Mildred Pomatto. The deceased held membership in San Rafael Aerie No. 256, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Bolinas lodge of Druids.
The funeral was held Monday of this week at the Druids’ Hall in Bolinas, and interment was made in the cemetery there by the F. E. Sawyer Company. The deceased was 50 years of age and a native of Italy.
