RUSSELL SEAMAN
A funeral for Capt. Russell R. Seaman of Larkspur will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Keaton’s Mortuary, San Rafael.
Seaman, 62, died Thursday in a local hospital.
He was born and raised in San Francisco. He was a Merchant Marine and worked as a sea captain. He retired this year as operations manager for Crowley Maritime Corp. after 25 years.
He was a member of the Mission Lodge Free and Accepted Masons No. 169, Masters, Mates and Pilots of San Francisco, Port of San Francisco Marine Square Club and Matson-Kamaainas.
He and his wife, Patricia, were married in 1951. They moved to Marin in 1952.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Diana Virginia Seaman of Kentfield and Carolyn Anne Seaman of Larkspur.
Friends may call for visitation from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be private. The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Heart Fund.
