George Breck Taken By Heart Trouble
Funeral services were held at Gray’s Undertaking Parlor in San Francisco Monday for George Breck, well known and prominent citizen of Yolanda.
Breck, active and a leader in movements in this community for civic betterment, passed away early last Friday morning from heart trouble. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella M.Breck. He was the founder of Pacific Coast motion picture supply companies and at the time of his death was president of several such organization.
In his youth Breck was an instructor at the University of Oregon. His father was one of Portland’s mayors years ago.
The “Igloo,” home of the deceased, was the scene of many social gatherings which attracted a host of friends of the Breck’s, who were noted for their hospitality.
