THOMAS E. HEARTY
Private services will be held for Thomas Edmund Hearty of Sausalito.
Hearty, 66, died Saturday in a local hospital following a long illness.
A native of Oakland, he had lived in Sausalito for the past 12 years. He originally came to Marin in 1958, moving to Lagunitas from San Francisco.
Before his retirement, Hearty worked as an electrical engineer for Brown and Caldwell Consulting Engineers of Walnut Creek.
He is survived by his wife Mary D. Hearty of Sausalito; two sons, Gary E. Hearty of Los Angeles and David A. Hearty of Portland and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Neptune Society.
