FRANCES T. FERRARIO
A funeral will be held for Mill Valley resident Frances T. Ferrario at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mill Valley.
Mrs. Ferrario died in a local hospital Wednesday after a long illness. She was 88.
A native of Italy, she came to the United States and settled in Sausalito with her family when she was five. She married the late Antonio Ferrario at age 19 and moved to Mill Valley where she lived for the rest of her life.
A housewife, Mrs. Ferrario also operated the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church’s Mill Valley Salvage Shop for eight years until 10 years ago.
She was a member of the Young Ladies Institute of Sausalito and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mill Valley.
She is survived by a son, Charles Ferrario of Mill Valley; a daughter, Nettie Massen of Napa; and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Ferrario will be buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
