GEORGE J. DROBNY
A funeral was held for George J. Drobny, a Novato resident, on Monday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Novato.
Drobny died Thursday in his home after a short illness. He was 70.
A native of Illinois, he settled in Novato in 1957. Before moving to Novato, he lived in Chicago, Vallejo and Sacramento.
He was a retired U. S. Air Force engineer.
Survivors include three sons, Terrance Drobny of Santa Clara, Gary Drobny of Novato, and Gerald Drobny of Washington.
Drobny was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
