ANTHONY TIMONY Dies At Age 72

Anthony Timony, aged 72 years, died at his home in Lincoln avenue, last Tuesday from heart trouble. He had been ill for a number of weeks and confined to his bed. Within a few weeks of t he time of death, he had been employed by the San Rafael Board of Education as janitor at the Coleman School.

In former years Mr. Timony took a deep interest in political matters and was one of the leaders of the Democratic party in Marin county. He is survived by a widow, Mary Timony, a daughter, Catherine Timony and brother, Thomas B. Timony.

The deceased was a native of Ireland and a member of the local order of Eagles and Knights of Columbus.

The funeral services were held today at 9:30 from his late residence under the direction of the Sawyer Company. Requiem high mass was held at St. Raphael’s church at 10 o’clock and interment took place at Mount Olivet cemetery.
