Mrs. Louise Freytag Ends Life After Long Illness – Age 70 Years
“I can stand the pain no longer. This is the only way.” This was the contents of a note left by Mrs. Louise Freytag, 70, who committed suicide last Friday, at her home on Wolfe Hill, Kentfield.
The dead body and the note were found in the family car, where Mrs. Freytag had allowed fumes from the exhaust of the motor to relieve her from a long standing ailment, and despondency over the death of her husband, Ferdinand Freytag, one of the _?_t x-ray specialists. The tragic _?_ne came as a shock to the son, Charles Freytag of Berkeley, who discovered the body. The note was addressed to the daughter.
