San Rafael Man Killed Crossing Highway 101

Marin County contributed one of the 5 fatal automobile accidents recorded in northern California, when ANDREW RIGIK, 47, an employee of the Richmond Ferry Company, was killed while crossing the street in front of his San Rafael home.

He lives on Highway 101, and crossing that thoroughfare, became confused in the heavy Sunday night traffic. A car driven by Ogden L. Eisenhood, 22, of Santa Rosa, bowled him over. He was dead when picked up. Eisenhood was released on his own recognizance.
