Mrs. Monahan Summoned By Death

Annie E. Monahan, wife of Arthur P. Monahan of San Quentin, died at her home last Saturday following an acute attack of heart trouble. She was 50 years of age and besides the husband, she leaves a large family. They are Arthur S. Monahan, Mrs. Clarence T. Armstrong, Gertrude F., Grace K., Clinton C. A son, Frank L. Monahan is deceased. She was a sister of Mrs. C. W. Stuert, Mrs. I. J. Swanson and Mrs. J. F. Dickenson. She was a native of California.

The family removed to San Quentin 10 or 12 years ago where the husband was employed as an officer in the jute mill.

The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the Sawyer Company’s parlors in this city, following which a requiem high mass was said at St. Raphael’s church at 10:00 a.m. Interment was at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
