GAIL COLE CAMPBELL
Retired executive secretary
Gail Cole Campbell, a homemaker and retired executive secretary, died May 28.
She was 90.
Mrs. Campbell, a Novato resident, was born in Sherman, Texas, and also lived in New Orleans, where she was a secretary for New Orleans Public Service.
She was a member of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church in New Orleans.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Campbell Dixon, of Novato; a sister, Betty Cole Bonk, of Dallas; grandsons, Colin Campbell Corr of Petaluma, Billy Rufus Townsend of New Orleans, and Evan Campbell of Houston; granddaughter, Kristen Campbell of New Orleans, La.; and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James Lay Campbell, died earlier.
A private service was held yesterday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Novato Community Hospital.
