Well Known Charity Worker Dies Sunday

Mrs. Andrew J. Gallagher, aged 43 years, wife of A. J. Gallagher, former Supervisor of San Francisco, died Sunday at her home in Yolanda. Cause of death is attributed to heart disease. The end came following a relapse which she suffered a few days before, after being brought to this county from San Francisco, in the hope of bettering her condition.

The deceased was an active member of numerous clubs in San Francisco, and was an ardent church and charity worker. Mrs. Gallagher was one of the founders of the San Francisco Working Boys Club, and was particularly interested in Child Welfare.

The funeral services were held Wednesday in San Francisco, and interment at Holy Cross cemetery.
