BEETHOVEN FREEMAN
A graveside service for Beethoven Freeman of Novato will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the San Francisco National Cemetery in the Presidio. Mr. Freeman, 71, died Tuesday at Novato Community Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in North Hampton, Pa.
Mr. Freeman had 22 years of military service that included World War II and the Korean conflict. He began his service in the Army and retired from the Air Force.
He was a member of the American Legion, Post 1000, the Retired Officer’s Association, and the 40th Bombers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Freeman of Novato; a son, David Freeman of British Columbia; three brothers, Gene Freeman of Long Beach, Carson Freeman of Pennsylvania and Edward Freeman Jr. of Eureka; three sisters, Doris Snyder and Janice Moran and Honey Fenstermaker, all of Pennsylvania; and one grandson.
