HARRY J. DOYLE
A private memorial service of Harry Joseph Doyle of Petaluma, a former San Rafael resident, has been held in Petaluma.
Mr. Doyle died unexpectedly Friday at Petaluma Valley Hospital. He was 57.
He was born and reared in San Francisco. He served in both the Navy and Coast Guard.
Mr. Doyle moved to Petaluma 17 years ago after living in San Rafael.
He worked many years for Bekins Van and Storage. He was first a furniture mover and in later years was a truck mechanic for the van lines.
Mr. Doyle was an avid bowler and served on the board of directors of the Petaluma Bowling Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Doyle of Petaluma; four daughters, Pamela Welch, Debbie New, Kathy Doyle and Vickie Richey, all of Sacramento; two sons, Harold Doyle and Robert Doyle, both of Sacramento; a sister, Patsy Canales of San Francisco; two brothers, Donny Krainer and Lonnie Krainer, both of San Francisco; and 14 grandchildren.
Inurnment was private.
