VIOLET S. HAACK
A private service was held for Violet S. Haack of Greenbrae, a longtime resident of Marin.
She died Monday at Bayside Convalescent Hospital in Kentfield at the age of 97.
Mrs. Haack, a native of London, had lived in Marin for 60 years. She was the owner of a dress store in Larkspur and San Anselmo called the Larkspur & San Anselmo Dry Goods. She retired in 1935.
Survivors are a son, R. Eric Henderson of Greenbrae; a sister, Winnie Brown of England; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Heart Fund Memorial.
