ANNA F. MARTIGNOLI

Anna F. Martignoli, a longtime San Rafael resident, died Tuesday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a lengthy illness. She was 75.

Mrs. Martignoli was born in Novato and reared in Petaluma. She moved to San Rafael about 45 years ago.

She worked as a retail grocery clerk at various stores including Garatti Grocery and the purity market. She retired about 15 years ago.

Mrs. Martignoli was a very active member of Native Daughters of the Golden West and belonged to the Marinita parlor in San Rafael. She was also a member of the group’s past presidents club.

She was also active with Women Who Care, a support group for people with medical problems in their families.

Her husband, Romeo James Martignoli, died last August.

She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Ingemansson of San Rafael; a son, Ramund Martignoli of Folsom; two brothers, Antone Zunino of Chico and Lowell Zunino of San Rafael; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mission San Raphael Arcangel. Scripture services will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.

The Native Daughters will conduct a ritual there at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael. The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to Native Daughters of the Golden West Home, 555 Baker St., San Francisco or to a favorite charity.
