MARIE NIELSEN BOWMAN
A funeral for Marie Nielsen Bowman of San Mateo, a former Marin resident, was held Monday in San Mateo.
Mrs. Bowman died last Thursday in San Mateo. She was 74.
She had lived in Corte Madera from 1934 to 1942. She was a native of Kelseyville.
Her husband, John Miller Nielsen, died previously.
She is survived by two sons, James Nielsen of Palo Alto and William Nielsen of Rolling Hills Estates; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private burial was at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma. The family prefers that contributions be made to the Peninsula Easter Seal Society, 1764 Marco Polo Way, Burlingame or the Second Church of Christ, Scientist, 309 – 37th Ave., San Mateo.
