JOSEPH DeSILVA
Joseph DeSilva of San Rafael died Monday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a long illness. He was 72.
He was born in Madera and moved to Marin 45 years ago.
He retired from the Pepsi Cola Bottling Co. in San Rafael 10 years ago.
He was a member of Sons in Retirement, the Marin Amblers Trailer Club, the Marin Rod and Gun Club and the Independent Order of Foresters.
Mr. DeSilva is survived by his wife, Marian G. DeSilva of San Rafael; two sons, Joel R. DeSilva of Santa Rosa and Ronald A. DeSilva of Rohnert Park; a sister, Blanche Naff of Turlock; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
