WILLIAM LAMB CURLEY
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ross for William Lamb Curley, a longtime Marin resident and certified public accountant.
Mr. Curley, who was 59, died Friday at his home in San Rafael after a brief illness.
He was born in San Francisco and educated at Lowell High School and the University of San Francisco. In 1983, he earned a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
Mr. Curley practiced certified public accounting from an office in Larkspur Landing. Earlier, he had been with Hills Bros. Coffee Inc. for 17 years and was a vice president and director.
He began his accounting practice with McLaren & Goode Co., later part of Haskins & Sells.
During World War II, Mr. Curley served in Europe with the 76th Infantry Division.
He was a member of the Rotary Club of San Rafael.
Mr. Curley is survived by his wife, Barbara Carreiro Curley; three daughters, Cammy Kelly of Kentfield, Nina Berger of San Rafael and Marjory Curley of Kentfield; three brothers, Robert G. Curley of Los Altos, Jack R. Curley of Lucas Valley and Charles H. Curley of Larkspur; and one grandson.
Another brother, Clyde J. Curley Jr., died in August.
