STEFAN HIRDT
A funeral for Stefan Hirdt of Corte Madera, a college student, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Marin Lutheran Church in Corte Madera.
Mr. Hirdt died Sunday in a motorcycle accident near Tomales. He was 22.
He was a student at California Polytechnic University in San Louis Obispo. He was know as a fine student and earned a place on dean’s honor roll for his last two quarters.
He is survived by his parents, Wolfgang and Hildegard Hirdt of Corte Madera; a sister, Daniela Hirdt of Corte Madera; and his grandparents, Hedwig Suess, Otto and Gertrud Hirdt all of Germany.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Daphne Funerals Marin in Corte Madera. Burial will be at Daphne Fernwood Cemetery in Mill Valley.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that he was the nephew of Hannelore and Detlef Siarkowski of Germany.
