SUZANNE E. HENDERSON
Suzanne Elisa Henderson, 49, a former longtime Marin resident, died Monday at the home of her parents in Novato after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Hartford, Conn., and grew up there and in California.
She lived in Corte Madera for many years before moving to Boreal Village at Soda Springs.
She had taught in San Francisco schools for many years while living in Marin.
At the mountain resort, she was engaged in motel management, condominium rental and operation of Nera Products Imports, an importing business.
She also was an accomplished artist and craftswoman.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by two sons, Kip Henderson of Merrill, Ore., and Andrew Henderson of Soda Springs; her parents, Rudolf and Brynhild Wallace of Novato; and two brothers, Ron Wallace of San Mateo and Eric Wallace of Roswell, Ga.
The Rev. Glyn Pohl conducted a private service [at] the home of the parents. A memorial service will be held June 5, Mrs. Henderson’s birthday, at Donner Summit.
The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Marin or the American Cancer Society.
