MURIEL E. JOCKISCH

Friends in Marin have learned of the death of Muriel E. “Pete” Joskisch (sic), a former longtime resident of the county.

Mrs. Joskisch, 87, died Dec. 17 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. She was born in Salt Lake City.

She had owned the Larkspur shop, Pete’s Clothes Horse, when she lived in Marin. She moved to Idaho several years ago to be near her family.

She was guardian of the Job’s Daughters in Larkspur for 16 years, grand officer in the California Grand Guardian Council, a member of the San Rafael chapter of the Eastern Star, and an honorary member of the Order of DeMolay.

Mrs. Joskisch is survived by a son, Claude E. Carey of Hayden Lake, Idaho; two daughters, Bettie Lou Davis of Roland Heights, Los Angeles County, and Joan Smith of Hayden Lake, Idaho; and a sister, Louise Walker of Long Beach.
