Mrs. Amelia W. Hofmann entered into the beyond, Monday, February 16 in Oakland. While Mill Valley was her home, for some months she had been with a daughter in Fruitvale, that she might enjoy a little change of climate and have the care of a physician who had long been acquainted with her case.
Mrs. Hofmann was born in Alexandria, Virginia, April 3, 1848. She came to California, across the Isthmus of Panama, in 1852, with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Rasche and her four sisters and two brothers. – Mill Valley Record
