JOSEPH T. BROWN
The memorial service for Joseph T. Brown, a longtime resident of Fairfax, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo.
Mr. Brown, 80, died Wednesday at Kaiser Hospital in Terra Linda after a brief illness.
Mr. Brown was a native of Washington, D.C. He moved to the San Joaquin Valley in 1910 and in 1949, he moved to Fairfax where he spent the rest of his life.
He worked as a bookbinder at T. J. Cardoza Bookbinders of San Francisco for 40 years.
He was a member of the Graphic Communication International Union, Local B003.
Mr. Brown is survived by his son, James J. Brown of Woodacre; his sister, Anna Hennessy of Manton, Tehama County; and four grandchildren.
