GARY R. ORCHARD
A funeral service will be held for former San Rafael resident Gary R. Orchard Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of the Hills, 330 Redhill Ave., in San Anselmo. Inurnment will be private.
Orchard died Sunday at a Burlingame hospital, the victim of a boating accident. He was 35.
A native of San Rafael, Orchard lived and worked here until a year ago when he moved to Sunnyvale. He was educated in San Rafael schools.
Survivors include his parents, John and Marianne Orchard of Etna; and two sisters, Judy Orchard and Jean Orchard of San Rafael. He was the brother of the late James Orchard of San Rafael.
