Aged Physician Dies At Sausalito Home
Dr. Allen Haines Vance, the oldest practicing physician in this county, died at his home in Sausalito Sunday at the age of 80 years. He was the husband of Clara Moore Vance, and father of Mrs. Helen Keyt and Mrs. Dorothea Washborne, and brother of James B. and Mary R. Vance, Mrs. Sherlock Andrews of Santa Cruz, and Mrs. E. L. Lord of Paris, Ill., and a grandfather of Susannah and Vance Keyt, a native of Ohio.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in San Francisco and the interment was private.
