Jan Erling Kohler, vice president for Daman Nelson Travel of San Francisco for 16 years, died April 17. He was 69.

Mr. Kohler, a San Rafael resident, was born April 20, 1930, in Oslo, Norway.

He was a Marin County resident for the past 20 years. He had a life-time career in travel.

He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.

A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Montgomery Memorial Chapel at the corner of Bolinas and Richmond Road in Ross.
