JOANNE ESTHER SNYDER
A private funeral has been held in Stockton for Joanne Esther Snyder, a San Rafael homemaker.
Mrs. Snyder died Wednesday at her home after a long illness. She was 43.
Mrs. Snyder was born in San Francisco but had lived in Marin most of her life. She attended schools in San Francisco, graduating from Notre Dame High School.
She married Charles Snyder, an operating engineer, in 1962.
She lived in Sausalito, Tiburon and, for the past 23 years, in San Rafael.
Besides her husband, she also is survived by a son, Timothy C. Snyder of San Rafael, and two sisters, Donna Marvin of Tabb, Va., and Annette Kearns of Tiburon.
Burial was in Parkview Cemetery, French Camp, San Joaquin County.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, Suite 17, San Rafael, 94903.
