ROBERT OWEN COLE
Robert Owen Cole, 78, a longtime resident of Ross, died Saturday at Marin General Hospital.
Mr. Cole was a native of London, England. He had lived in Ross for the past 32 years.
He was an importer and exporter of seafood.
Mr. Cole was a member of the National Fisheries Institute, the Commonwealth Club, Washington Athletic Club, and Ducks Unlimited. He also was affiliated with various Marin charities.
Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Edna L. Cole of Ross; a daughter, Naomi E. McGinn of Belvedere; two sons, George Kennedy Cole of Redding and Robert O. Cole, Jr., of Redmond, Wash.; and nine grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at 5 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ross.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the Santa Rosa branch of the American Lung Association.
