VELMA A. STEVENSON
Velma A. Stevenson, a longtime Mill Valley resident, died Thursday at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was 79.
Mrs. Stevenson, a housewife, was born in San Francisco and had lived in Mill Valley since 1966.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in San Francisco, Chapter 183.
Survivors are two daughters, Olive A. Perdue of San Jose and Catherine M. Toso of Mill Valley; a son, Richard M. Stevenson of Palm Springs; and two brothers, Dr. E. A. Cudworth of Mill Valley and Wallace J. Cudworth of Carson City, Nev.
No services are planned.
The family asked that memorial donations be sent to Hospice of Marin, 77 Mark Drive, San Rafael, 94903.
