LUCRECIA C. GASSMAN

Lucrecia C. Gassman, 74, of Sausalito, died Sunday at Mount Zion Hospital in San Francisco after a brief illness.

Mrs. Gassman was a native of Mexico. She came to live in Sausalito in the early 1960s.

She had worked in the clerical department for Southern Pacific Railroad in San Francisco for many years, retiring 12 years ago.

She was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks Lodge No. 890 of San Francisco.

Mrs. Gassman was the widow of Philip A. Gassman. She is survived by three daughters, Rosina Michna of Greenbrae, Norma Martino of Sausalito and Clara Evans of San Francisco, and six grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Sausalito. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.

A rosary will be recited today at 8 p.m. at the Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley. Friends may call for visitation today after 4 p.m.

The family prefers memorial contributions to the Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma.
