HOWARD J. JACOBSON
Howard J. Jacobson, 83, of Fairfax, died Friday at Marin General Hospital.
Mr. Jacobson was a native of Kenton, Mich. He had been a resident of Fairfax for the past seven years.
He was a member of the Musician’s Association No. 73 of Seattle. He had his own band, called Karnie’s Orchestra, for 55 years. He played also sax and his wife, Karn, played accordian.
He came from Petaluma to live in Marin County in 1978.
Mr. Jacobson is survived by his wife, Karn M. Jacobson of Fairfax; a son, Boyd Jacobson of Fairfax; two sisters, Ila Mae Erickson of Spokane, Wash. And Betty Zuellhke of Suquamish, Wash.; and one grandchild.
Inurnment will be in Queen Anne Columbarium, Seattle, Wash. The family prefers memorial gifts to the Marin County branch of the American Cancer Society.
