RAYMOND S. BOWLEY
RAYMOND S. BOWLEY, radio expert, whose home was at 901 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., San Anselmo, died at the age of 52 at his residence on Memorial Day. He had been ill for some time. A world War veteran, he was a member of San Anselmo for 30 years. Mr. BOWLEY leaves his widow, Mrs. EVA BOWLEY, a sister, LENA E. BOWLEY, and a nephew, JACK BOWLEY. He was a member of the Lakeport Lodge of Masons. He also belonged to the San Rafael Sciots.
Mr. BOWLEY was the holder of two or three patents for the improvement of radio, and was soon to have profited financially from them, but death intervened.
Funeral services were held from the chapel of Guy W. Jenness & Co. Tuesday. They were largely attended by veterans and many long time friends. Beautiful floral offerings attested the high esteem in which he was held in the community he had so long called home. Interment was in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.
