ALVIN FREY PAYNE
Alvin Frey Payne of San Rafael died Tuesday in Bakersfield.
He was 56.
Mr. Payne, a retired businessman, was a native of San Francisco.
He was reared in Mill Valley and attended Tamalpais High School.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Payne of San Rafael; two sons, Michael and Prescott Payne of San Rafael; a daughter, Nancy Payne of Sonoma; two sisters, Hazel Pommer of Napa and Patricia Castel of Mill Valley; and one grandson.
Private services were held at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial was private.
Friends are invited to call between 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday at t he family home, 158 Robinhood Drive, San Rafael.
The family prefers contributions to Hospice of Marin or the American Heart Association.
