FRANK ‘BURT’ SCHULLERTS
A graveside service for retired Naval Reserve Commander Frank “Burt” Schullerts, a former resident of Greenbrae, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Colfax District Cemetery in Auburn.
Cmdr. Schullerts, 77, lived in Camino, El Dorado County, at the time of his death. He died in Marshall Hospital in Placerville after a brief illness.
He was born in Oakland and was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
He worked for the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. for 40 years.
He was a member of the Insulated Conductor Committee, the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers, the Pacific Coast Electric Association and the Electric Power Research Institute.
He also belonged to the Church of Religious Science in Placerville.
Cmdr. Schullerts lived in Greenbrae for 19 years. He left in 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Schullerts of Camino; two daughters, Margo Schullerts of Yuba City and Sally Schullerts of Hawaii; his sister, Clara Morris of Auburn; and one grandchild.
The family prefers memorial gifts to Marshall Hospital in Placerville or Guide Dogs for the Blind.
